OUR VALUES
During the camps, children are offered quality programs and carefree leisure time.
To this end, we strive for awareness and self-reflexivity in the preparation and implementation of activities.
Empirical basis
According to our 2016 research, financial difficulties and alienation within the community are the most pressing problems for locals. With the camp, we are trying to respond to these: by creating experiences and building the community.
Local resources
The inhabitants of Nyárádszentimre and SeprÅ‘d are in no need of saviours. We believe that there are local solutions to local needs. Together, we seek and mobilise these.
Credibility
Young people from Szentimre, Budapest and other European cities work together democratically. Everyone contributes to the camp by what they know best.
We listen to feedback and learn from each other,
from the children and from local adults.
Professionalism
Our programs are developed and implemented in line with the professional principles of pedagogy and psychology. We ensure the physical and emotional safety of the children. We believe that an inclusive community, based on collective experiences. can be a sustaining force in all our lives.
